shifting from windows to Mac OS,is Mac OS compatible to just any desktop computer?even if it’s not apple-built
i want to shift from a windows OS to a MAC OS, before buying the product, I just want to ensure that Mac OS works with just any hardware? i have a core-2 duo processor, 2Gb RAM and 512Mb video card? will this be enough to support such an OS? and considering that this hardwares are not made by apple, will the OS still be compatible? and please convince me that I am making the right decision by shifting to Mac OS… thanks a lot…
Anyone trying to convince you to switch or stay will be doing it for biased reasons. If your computer is working fine and you’re happy with its performance then don’t switch. If it’s time to upgrade then switch. I use Macs at home and PCs at work and I love the Mac. There is a learning curve, but you can always install Windows on your mac and switch between the two OS’s until you’re comfortable.
To answer your question directly, there is no real easy way to put the Mac OS on anything other then an Apple Computer. The safest bet is to either buy the whole package or don’t switch at all.
