I have an apple computer, will Malware damage it?
I’m trying to do a project for school on Kazakhstan, and I have been using this site for information.

just today I got the message that it contains Malware, and I don’t feel like messing up my computer. Is it just a stupid pop up of is it legit?
Yeah, dumb question. Just thought I’d check before I sent it to my teacher and infect her computer.
Yes Macs can get malware, to be more specific, they get trojans, but at the fault of the user; malware can only be installed foolishly by the user, usually through pirated/bogus software.
If what you are getting looks like this
