The Apple store gave the wrong person my computer!!?
I gave my computer for repair at the Apple store and when I went to pick it up I was told that someone already did! I had lost any proof I had but recently found it.The wrong address is on it but my phone number and password is also on the paper.Honestly,when they gave me the receipt,I didnt even bother to look at the paper.Besides,I didn’t think they would make such a mistake.The address on it is located in another state!! Why would someone even have their computer repaired liked 5 hours away?? What can I do? They aren’t helping.They even said the CLOSED my case!! Advice please!
They prob. mailed it out b/c the address is from another state…5 hours away! But my phone # is on it…big mix up!
Contact head office and lodge a complaint. Remind them it is their responsibility to look after your computer until YOU collect it. Ask for their help in recovering your computer or tell them you expect to be provided with a new replacement that is equivalent or better.
Keep in mind you may need to get legal assistance to recover what is yours, or obtain a replacement computer.
