ok im not afraid to admit it: i AM a computer nerd/geek. but when i talk to my folks they have no idea what im saying about the gigs and the megs and ram and apple iPhone and mac pro and intel Xeon etc… is there somthing like runescape that i can go and log in and talk to people that know what im talking about?

OK so do you mean to say that you know enough about computer to just get by, and can do something with it, but you don’t know that much to teach someone else with it. Many of us are in the same boat of you. Think of this way, if you try to educate your parents what you do know, the result would be that you might come closer to them. The best is they won’t be laugh at you if you say something wrong. Your Friends who know about computer more than you will.
